GRAPE VARIETY:: 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
TECHNICAL CULTIVATION:: Grapes organically cultivated, pruned according to the Guyot
system, with grass encouraged to grow between the vines.
ORGANOLETTICH CHARACTERISTIC:: Ruby colour, aroma of wi ld cherries.
Full-bodied, lingering and persuasive in balanced tanning.
AVERAGE AGE OF THE VINES:: 30 years.
YIELD PER HECTARE:: 70 hl/ha
HARVESTING METHODS:: Manual picking of selected grapes, followed by
fermentation and maceration at a controlled temperature for 13/14 days
and then refining in small Slavonian oak casks of 15hl for a period of
12-18 months, enhanced by further refinement in the bottle.
FOOD ACCOMPANIMENTS:: Roast and braised meats,game and cured meats.
